One of our fondest memories of Howard Zinn was when We ran into him and his wife in the lobby of the Washington Square Hotel inYC in 2004. We made a point of telling him how his book inspired me to study history in college.
Let'sot mourn Howard Zinn, he had a long life surrounded by loved ones where he changed the lives of millions through his teaching, writing and activism. Instead let's continue his work and spirit and in the words of Mother Jones
